Edyth O'Neill's Pinner Apron Pattern

Note from Dixie: From time to time I hope to add patterns to the "Patterns & Workshops" page that are related to making antique inspired dolls. Here is one pattern that is worth looking at. Edyth O'Neill has been collecting and writing about antique dolls for over 50 years. We are lucky to have her submitting articles for our reading pleasure here. :-)

Edyth O'Neill's Pinner Apron Pattern PDF:

Includes 2 shapes for making the adorable aprons above, with 6 pages of pictures and written instructions. Edyth says,

"When dressing early dolls, a favorite way to add color and
interest to a dress is to include a little apron in a compatible
print. This same print or yet a third one may be used to line the
sleeves and the hem of the dress, so that a bit of the print shows
as the doll plays about. (And yes they do play when they think you
are not watching.)"

Please contact Edyth if you're interested in this pattern. Direct all questions to Edyth at joneill816@austin.rr.com. Paypal payments to joneill816@austin.rr.com. The pattern is $5.50.
